Herbert Withers, Musician b1880

Herbert was by the age of 21 an acknowledged master of the Cello. He attended St Pauls school in London and became well known for his solo performances in the Queens Hall concerts. He turned down  the cello lead at the Grand Opera, Vienna to stay in England. Below is a link to reviews of the York Concerts Herbert played in.
